Everyone says that the world lacks loyalty. And turn around and praise God. How can that be so as it is such a contradictory act. Are we really loyal to God? When life is in our favor we make little mention of God. When life takes a turn for the worst many can be heard from afar professing how great God is. Believing that he will fix whatever it may be hindering our progress or putting a halt to our goals in life. Trust and believing wholly that we will get what we want if we just praise and believe in God. That word believe. Many believe but very few follow( Matthew 7:21-23). Failing to realize that this life and this body we think are ours is a blessing from a God; His will he done while in this short existence. When will we be sold out for God? Look at your life and see how much you worry about, money, men/women, work what others think of you and the like. Now how much do you worry about pleasing God!? You may not miss a Sunday. But what are you doing to protect the bride of Jesus Christ. Our lives are full of so many activities that the vast majority only have time on Sunday for God. Outside of church we don't minister. We don't exhort, reprove or rebuke those who are doing what opposes God. Not that you have to go and use the bible as a hammer but peacefully with love and long suffering. If someone needs your help or assistance and you can provide it, do you or do you make an excuse why you can't. Remember God hates and all liars, little white ones and the big ones are on a course to perish. I think WWJD do is a slogan that should be applied to your thinking all day everyday. Just imagine if you offered to your job what you offer God. One day of work. Would you have a job? If you only had one day for your husband or wife how long would your marriage last? If you believe God will give you everything your heart desires and that you will have and abundance of material wealth you better believe Matthew 7:21-23. Don't get confused by preachers, pastors and ministers who teach a gospel that you can have every treasure of your desire. The only thing God promises you a cross to carry everyday and eternal life thereafter (Matthew 16:24-26). Read 2 Corinthians 24-27 and see what Paul suffered while spreading the Word. Not fancy cars, clothes, big homes and extravagant living. It was the antithesis of the very life Christians in our society expect for following Christ. There are churches in abundance. But may I assure you the Christians are few just as they are few in other parts of the world. If you go through life and not suffer or lose anything in the name of Christ you have accept this new form of Christianity. I pray that you reexamine your life and take a close look at what you claim is your walk with Christ. Anything that hinders you from serving the kingdom of God you should rid you life of. If its your family or friends pray and love them and make every effort to convert them because Christ loves sinners and not the sin and they can repent and receive the kingdom of God and eternal life. If your hand is a hindrance cut it off and if its your eye pluck it out. The compensation and body Luke 14:14 and Romans 8:30 we will receive when we expire is nothing short of amazing. God cast satan and his angels out of Heaven and they will surely enter Hell. God sent us Jesus Christ as our Savior for the atonement of our sins. Don't put your eternal life at risk for this temporary life we have now. This is just an interlude to what God has waiting for you if you allow his will to be done and live as Christ did.
KJV Amp 1 Timothy 1:16 But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect long-suffering and patience for an example to [encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [the gaining of] eternal life.
17 Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible and immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever (to the ages of ages). Amen (so be it).
