Is the grass really greener on the other side? Or is it artificial
grass covering up what’s really there. That term is used very loosely.
How are you sure the grass is greener from the outside looking in. Maybe
the grass is the ideal green because it hasn’t been tampered with to
see if it will withstand harsh conditions.
Don’t be quick to drop and run to greener pastures. If you want your lawn to be that, greener on the other side, it takes maintenance. Unless you want that artificial look, that is perfectly laid down. Now peel it back and what is underneath. Surprise, surprise not exactly what you thought. You can only patch things up for so long. It requires more work than you would believe and yes it looks nice on the surface but beneath it is slowly falling apart, waiting on that next repair.
As a landscaper in your relationship you have to steadily work on the upkeep. Everyday checking the weeds, pulling out those small problems. Cutting away the excess that tries to attack you garden and lawn so that it stays healthy and able to blossom. And watering often so that it continues to grow. Keeping a close watch on it as it grows into something beautiful that makes you proud to call it yours.
So when your thinking about jumping the gate, keep in consideration if it’s really that great, be weary of the groundskeeper on duty.
