When will the crime stop? It is plauging the black
community especially. The value of human life is decreasing at an
alarming rate. There are many situations that factor into it but still
no reason to take a life. A mother and son slain, and another family
left to deal with grief and sadness.
When your living in it, it is easy to say ”thats life”. But is it really life? To take a life with no regard. At one time i will admit that i was stuck in that minsed and with that thinking and way of life. Being away from home for six years now has changed my perspective. There is much more to life and much more to experience and enjoy. Honestly I feel that when the Lord calls its time to go, but it is still hard for me to cope with someone being murdered behind a bad situation.
Experiencing someone close to you on more than one occasion and in the same manner, more than not make you numb to a way of life. First hand seeing and experiencing death and grief I’m a frim believer. It is something dealt with in inner city neighborhoods all around America. It is a vicious cycle (hate to be cliche), can it be stopped, yes but it takes more than an Obama election. Its take a dedicated and involed community. No way should a mother AND chiild meet there demise, in such a viloent manner. My prayer and condolences to the family and friends, whom I know a few of.
No one person elected, speaking out, or concerend can make the change alone. Thats why we should pray for ourselves and others. It’s a crazy world out there. Let’s try to come to a resolution to situations in a peaceful manner. I think the old, WWJD- What would Jesus do, bracelets and way of thinking that came and went would be a nice mindset to follow. Let’s make it a trending topic a la Twitter.
P.S. easier typed than done. God Bless.
